Sony Studios Adopts GHG for the Holidays!

(LOS ANGELES) – On December 18, with the excitement of Christmas looming in the air and the Holiday Season right around the corner, Sony Pictures paid a visit to the families of Gramercy Housing Group with a surprise of their own. This year, the various departments of Sony Studios collaborated to provide a Holiday Party with a special Christmas surprise for the families at Gramercy.

Decorations such as lights, wreaths, a Christmas tree, and even stockings for each client lit up the Family Center. Boston Market dinner and servers filled the stomachs of the moms and children while leaving enough room for plenty of other goodies to come. Sony donated a much needed tarp for outside use as well as messenger bags and personally donated designer clothes for the Gramercy moms. Moms also received gift cards from both Sony and Anchor Loans. The children received books donated by the Ella Fitzgerald Foundation along with a number of fun toys in their stockings such as chalkboard placemats from Zookies which they are still enjoying.

The final surprise arrived with a Sony employee dressed as Santa for the children. Each child was given an opportunity to sit on Santa’s lap and whisper to him their Christmas wishes. What a treat it was to have Santa personally visit us at Gramercy! It was a most exciting night!
