Information and Eligibility Requirements

Gramercy Housing Group provides affordable housing, childcare and supportive services for single parents (ages 18-24) with one child under the age of 5.

Description of Affordable Housing:

• 16 single apartment units (2 year maximum stay)

• Each unit equipped with kitchen, bathroom, adult bed and child bed (crib or toddler bed)

• Laundry room and community room available on-site

• Subsidized monthly rent of $175 for low-income families

• Residents contribute $100 per month to a savings program to secure permanent housing and rental assistance

On-site Services:

• Subsidized licensed childcare for all residents

• Case management

• Life skills classes (including financial literacy, nutrition & first-aid)

• “Mommy & Me” group sessions

• Educational and job skills training and referrals

• Childcare for toddlers (2 yrs and older) is available to members of the community based on a sliding scale rate

Admission Criteria:

• Written referral from case worker

• Completion of background check

• Verification of homelessness

• Verification of income
